Young citizens are shaping ideas on pollinators. Join the conversation!
How can we reverse the decline of pollinators? To address this challenge, 100 young citizens from the 27 European countries have been working together as part of a Citizens’ Assembly for the European Commission.
The young citizens have identified key challenges and possible actions. This work is still in progress. Your answers to the questions on the participation platform will help them test their initial ideas, better understand public priorities, and identify where choices and trade-offs need to be clarified. The results will directly inform the finalisation of their recommendations.
By taking part, you are contributing to an ongoing public debate on how Europe can better protect pollinators.

About the Project
The decline of pollinating insects threatens the availability of food, our future prosperity and nature. The EU institutions as well as many European countries, regions and cities have put in place several initiatives to address it, but pollinators are still declining.
What do we need to do now to reverse that ?
Not an easy question to answer but an ambitious one to debate on! This is the mission entrusted to 100 randomly selected young Europeans aged 18 to 29, who are part of the Assembly to formulate solutions and policy recommendations from September 2025 to March 2026.
They already had 6 days in Brussels to think about it. What about you?
Read on to find out how you can join the discussion and why it matters.
